Description

Welcome to the first Federation Exchange for 2018! We are excited to present another program crammed with the latest news, developments and updates from within the sector.

The Federation Exchange is a sector wide opportunity that allows members from across the state to hear from industry leaders regarding sector innovation and policy updates, as well as ideas sharing and networking opportunities. FedEx is attended by over 250 people over two days and is pivotal to the Federation’s key role of helping housing providers to develop, maintain and build the quality of their services and the skills and capacities in organisations. The Federation does this by supporting networks of people involved in various aspects of the business. In this way, peers can learn from each other and share expertise, good practice and emerging issues. Don’t miss out – register for the March Federation Exchange now!

Steps to register are outlined below. If registering more than one guest, please list the names of ALL guests.

Venue

The Federation Exchange is once again being held at Karstens Conference Centre Sydney - Level 1, 111 Harrington Road, The Rocks, Sydney, 2000.


Cost

Federation Exchange is free to any Full Member of the Federation, including staff and Directors. If you are an Affiliate/Associate member or a non-member and are interested in attending, please contact Molly (mollyo@communityhousing.org.au) before registering. The cost for affiliate, associate and non-members is $295 per person, inc. GST which covers attendance on both days of the Federation Exchange.

How to register

Complete the registration page of the Eventbrite event. If you will be attending both days please select Day 1 + 2 Member Ticket. Please also indicate the main network you wish to attend.

Please only register one guest at a time. If you are registering on someone else's behalf please use their name and email so that name badges and attendance lists are accurate.

FAQs

Q. Who should attend the Federation Exchange?

A. The Federation Exchange is a free event open to all Full Members of the Federation. If you are not a Full Member of the Federation and would like to attend the event, please send an expression of interest to Molly O'Halloran at mollyo@communityhousing.org.au.

Q. Is lunch provided and how can I advise you of any dietary requirements?
A. Yes lunch and morning / afternoon tea will be provided. There will also be coffee at registration. You can let us know of any dietary requirements or special needs via the registration page (we will endeavour to fulfill all special requirements, but in some instances this may not be possible).

Q. When is the next Federation Exchange being held?

A. The next FedEx will be the Second Quarterly Federation Exchange held on Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th of September 2018.

Q. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

A. No, we will have your name badge on arrival as proof of your attendance. However, an electronic copy is advised just in case.

Q. Can I update my registration information?

A. Yes. You can log into Eventbrite to change your registration information at any time. If you are having trouble or for further asssistance, please contact mollyo@communityhousing.org.au.

Q. Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

A. Please provide as much notice as possible if you intend to send someone in your place to FedEx due to administration requirements. If neccessary, a name badge can be created on the day for last minute changes.

Q. What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Karsten's Conference Centre is located a 7 minute walk from both Circular Quay and Wynyard Station. Parking is available next door to the venue at Wilson Carparking. Hourly rates apply. Click here for more information on parking.
