Marathon Walk ~ 42.2km // Sat March 9th 2019 ~ Sydney Olympic Park to Cronulla Beach

Lost & Found Adventures is excited to be hosting this premier first ever fitness adventure walking event from Sydney Olympic Park to Cronulla Beach.


  • Featuring a 42.2km course passing along & through urban parklands, riverside walkways, coastal beachside pathways, beaches & bridges. * Challenge yourself to finish this EPIC walk *

  • Starting at Sydney Olympic Park Station, we walk past Bicentenial Park, Homebush Bay & through Strathfield, crossing over local bridgeways we make our way onto the Cooks River Walkway. Following this path east we walk through local parklands keeping the water in sight. Passing through Belfield, Canterbury, Earlwood, Dulwich Hill, Marrickville & Wolli Creek. * Your about to complete a 1/2 marathon ~ 21.1km *

  • Crossing into Tempe we pass Sydney International Airport, making our way along where the Cooks River meets Botany Bay at Kyeemagh. We now follow the beach side all the way through Brighton - Le - Sands, Monterey, Ramsgate Beach, Dolls Point & Sandringham crossing the bridge north to south & into Taren Point. Viewing Towra Point Sanctuary & Shell Point as we travel along the protected Ecological corridor of Woolooware Bay we are almost there. Walking up through the Greenhills we hit Don Lucas Reserve our last few kilometres take in the stunning coastal waters of Wanda Beach, Eloura Beach & the finish Line 42.2kms at Cronulla Beach. * Woohoo, Congratulations you are a marathon finisher *

  • Pick up your medal, get yourself a photo at the finish line & enjoy a recovery bite to eat.


  • Lost & Found Adventures are qualified & certified in Fitness & Personal Training, Clinical Nutrition, Sports Therapy & Remote First Aid. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to complete these types of endurance events regardless of their age or fitness level. That is why we provide full support to get YOU on track & complete the event at your own pace. If its your first one then its a PB.

  • Walking terrain is on shared pathways that are mainly flat, some slight inclines. There are toilets & water refill places along the way.

  • There are plenty of pull out & pick up places along the way should you only wish to do part of the marathon or feel unwell. At all times we will be in a controlled urban environment.

  • Save $10. Buy an Early Bird ticket before January 31st 2019.

  • Event is for over 18yrs only due to distance

  • Event is for Women & Men

  • Beginner to experienced event ~ we provide a training program

  • Excellent walk for those training for UTA.

  • We have a cut off time of 11hrs.

  • Pace needs to be 4km per hr or above. Training for this event is essential. We provide a training home based program for those who register

Start Time: 7.00am at Sydney Olympic Park Train Station

Finish: Cronulla Beach

You Need To Bring:

  • 1.5 - 2ltrs water

  • Extra snacks - ( we do provide food packs )

  • Energy gels - ( are great as you start to become tired, you will be given info on this )

  • Comfortable walking shoes, gym or hiking shoes you can walk 42.2km in

  • Personal Meds

  • Blistex or bandaids for blisters

  • Small backpack or equivalent

  • Camera

  • Sunscreen

  • Sunhat

  • Light jacket

  • Rain Jacket - ( event is on in the rain )
