About this event
Mapping the Pacific will examine the traditional wayfinding knowledge of the Pacific community, European exploration and the mapping of the Pacific from the early modern era through to the 19th century.
This conference will be a hybrid event - onsite and streamed online.
The conference is open to cartographers, geographers, historians, map collectors, curators and everyone with an interest in maps.
The 2 day conference will end with a dinner to be held on the evening of Thursday 3rd March. Details about this dinner and registration can be found here.
Tickets price includes morning tea and lunch for each full day.
The number of tickets available is currently set in line with NSW Health Orders. We hope that additional tickets will be released closer to the conference opening dates as the COVID situation eases.
