Did you know the bushland at Mannix Park is part of the critically endangered Cumberland Plain Woodland?
Liverpool City Council is holding a community tree planting day at Mannix Park on Sunday 18 March. Come along, plant a tree and learn why this area of Liverpool so special.
Join us from 9am to 11.30am. The best way to access the park is from Warrigo Street, Heckenberg.
Council provides all plants, tools and a planting demonstration. There will be a free BBQ lunch for everyone who lends a hand.
Planting is suitable for all ages so bring your family and friends!
Participants are reminded to wear enclosed shoes, a hat, sunscreen and a long sleeved shirt, and to bring a water bottle and gloves if they have them.
