How do you respond when one of your staff isn’t making the grade?

Managing underperformance can be uncomfortable, but it is essential to a productive and high functioning workforce.

Join us in exploring how to identify, manage and improve employee performance while ensuring you protect your organisation from claims in the Fair Work Commission and Courts. This informative workshop, designed with managers and supervisors in mind, provides transferable skills and ‘best practice’ responses to apply to your own workplace. Using role play and open discussion, participants’ will get a handle on effective performance management.

We will cover:

  • How to identify performance issues and the reasons employees may be underperforming
  • How to distinguish between performance issues and conduct issues and how management responses may differ for each
  • The different stages of performance management from informal feedback to performance improvement plans and disciplinary action
  • How to minimise the risk of a complaint or claim being made by the employee
