Description

Peopleistic invites all current, or aspiring managers and leaders to attend an intensive, industry-focused short course on Managing Recruitment and Induction.

Overview

Finding the correct person for the correct position with the correct skills, knowledge and experience can be a very laborious and time-consuming process – particularly if you do not understand how to recruit, select and induct staff and don't afford this key process the importance it deserves. Most leaders and managers know that choosing the wrong applicant for a job can be very costly when you calculate the expense of advertising, outsourcing, arranging interviews, hiring, the induction process and then training the new employee for the position. As a manager, it is essential to understand the process of recruitment, selection and induction. This half-day course presents the essential skills and knowledge in planning for recruitment, managing selection and supporting the induction of new staff.

This course is designed for:

  • Executive and Managers who have responsibility for the core HR functions.
  • Executives and Managers who have responsibility for effective recruitment and induction.
  • Those looking to increase their knowledge about the key processes involved in planning and selecting the right team of people.

Topics covered:

  • Planning for Selection
  • Supporting the Selection Process.

The content of this course is aligned to the Australian National competency unit BSBHRM405 Support the recruitment, selection and induction of staff and forms part of the BSB51915 Diploma of Leadership and Management and other diploma courses. No assessment is included, however those wishing to complete the assessment for these Units of Competency may do so for an additional fee.
