Description

This workshop will introduce participants to the Micro:bit tiny programmable computer. This affordable device has great depth and breadth for use in the STEM classroom.

Throughout the day participants will explore and discover a variety of ways this device can be used in hands on and engaging activities. See more about the Micro:bit here.

Participants should bring their own laptops and lunch.

Cost: $200 per person

Completing this workshop will contribute 5 hours of NESA Registered PD addressing 2.5.2, 3.3.2, and 3.4.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.

This workshop will be delivered by Pip Cleaves - A Microsoft Learning Consultant

A note about payment for this workshop: You will be sent an invoice for payment once you have registered for the course. This invoice should be processed prior to attendance.
