About this Event

Explore the ins and outs of social impact at Making Sense of Social Impact, a panel event hosted by the McCusker Centre for Citizenship Student Advisory Committee.

Making Sense of Social Impact will be held on 10 October from 4-5pm at the Hemsley Learning Suite in the UWA Reid Library. ** Please note: this is a student event only.

Meet our panellists

  • Jethro Sercombe has 17 years’ social services leadership experience, which helps inform his role as Human-Centred Design Lead at Anglicare WA. In 2013, Jethro was named one of Business News’ 40 under 40 for his work in the community.
  • Kylie Hansen has more than 15 years’ experience across government, corporate, not-for-profit and social finance sectors. In 2015, Kylie co-founded Impact Seed, which is WA’s only social enterprise and impact investment capacity builder.
  • Ali Mollinger-Sahba is a Lecturer at the Centre for Social Impact and a PhD candidate at the UWA Australia Business School. Ali has more than 10 years’ experience in corporate governance and policy development across the private investment, university and not-for-profit sectors.
