This free course is designed to give attendees the skills to create simple items from easy to sew fabric. Attendees will have an introduction to common fabric types and gain an understanding of basic pattern and garment/item construction using simple techniques. No previous sewing knowledge or skills are needed.

All materials are provided.

This workshop is run over the course of 5 sessions. You do not need to have attended previous sessions to join. First time attendees will be making a zippered pouch. Returning patrons will be making a choice of produce bag, face mask, basket, heat bag, messenger bag or apron.

You must be aged 16 or over to use the MakerSpace equipment.
