Calling all Makers and Creators! Meet, network and collaborate at HSBNE; Brisbane’s largest workshop and maker collective. All are welcome – whether your craft is woodworking, jewellery, sculpture, blacksmithing, sewing, modern or ancient arts. Be inspired by local creators and entrepreneurs from all walks of life, whilst enjoying a beverage with like-minded company. Guest displays of your creations (large and small) are encouraged.
We’re pleased to announce our three guest speakers, Shane Sugrue of Modifyre, Anne Giacomantonio of Reverse Garbage Queensland and Dr. Erin Evans of Raise the Park! These three all know a fair bit about upcycling, community projects and the power of pallets!
HSBNE is the largest not-for-profit community workshop in the southern hemisphere and has facilities for craft/sewing, woodworking, metalworking, welding, blacksmithing, electronics, laser cutting and 3D printing in Brisbane. HSBNE is located in Eagle Farm, just down the road from the Eat Street Markets. HSBNE was created to enable others to create amazing things by bringing tools, machinery and community together.
