MakerBasics: Print your first object at Kathleen Syme Library

Want to get some hands on experience using a 3D printer? Then this is the workshop for you.
From finding your object to slicing it, and learning how to buy and maintain your own 3D printer for home, this workshop we will cover how to understand the practical skills and knowledge you need to start printing your own 3D objects.
What to bring: Your own laptop with a USB port or SD card reader, install the program Makerbot Desktop software (http://www.makerbot.com/apps) and sign up to a MakerBot Account (https://accounts.makerbot.com/register).
