Event description

Description

Whether you pronounce it GIF or JIF, there’s no denying the value of this humble file format in our screen-centric society. A GIF is a moving image file commonly displayed on webpages, and is a happy medium between a static image and the larger file format of a video.
This workshop explores how a series of still images can come together to express complex ideas, entertain, and be a medium for artistic expression. Participants will be introduced to creating GIFs from scratch in Adobe Photoshop, and platforms for sharing their creations. No experience necessary.
