Event description

Description

Adobe Photoshop is powerful image editing and manipulation software. It features basic video editing and animation tools. This workshop explores how a series of still images combined as an animation can express complex ideas, entertain and be a medium for artistic expression.

Participants will be introduced to basic Photoshop techniques through the context of creating animated GIFs. Skills covered include setting up a document, cutting out methods, layering, keyframe animation and an introduction to applying Photoshop's myriad effects. There will be an overview to platforms for sharing your creations, as well as discovering inspiration in this medium.
