Event description

Description

Stickers are a great way to share what you are doing or what you think is an important message. But they can be expensive and if you only need one or two getting them made can be cost prohibitive.

This workshop is run over fortnightly sessions, to successfully complete a workshop you will need to attend both sessions:

Workshop 2, Wednesday 1 November and Tuesday 14 November, 5pm to 6.45pm.

Week 1:
The first session will introduce a number of simple and effective methods for creating your very own sticker designs using Adobe Illustrator. You will learn both how to make original designs from scratch, and how to repurpose existing imagery.

Week 2:
Stickers are a great way to share what you are doing or what you think is an important message. But they can be expensive and if you only need one or two getting them made can be cost prohibitive. Come down to LATD and learn how to use an electronic cutting tool to make your own personalized vinyl sticker and learn about basic CAM and CNC processes.

Experience using Mac operating system highly preferred, however not essential. Please bring a USB to save your work if desired. This workshop is an ideal accompaniment to Character design in Adobe Illustrator.
