The everchanging and fast-paced world of social media can be overwhelming for any creative, but it’s now essential for any artist to refine their social media presence and use it to elevate their practice. Run by Neda Rahmani (Founder/CEO Goodworthy), in this workshop you will learn how to create authentic marketing using web-based media platforms. Neda will cover the many options available to market your creative practice and media work online. You will learn what platforms to use for personal and professional work, how to create impactful content that connects to your community, creating a realistic marketing schedule and using social media scheduling platforms, and working within a range of social media budgets.

Facilitator:
With a 20-year rich history in the Australian music and performing arts industry Neda Rahmani brings a wealth of knowledge to the Goodworthy team, translating her experience on stage and in front of the camera, into her role as head creative director of Goodworthy. Famous for her community attitudes, Neda likes to bring people together and to get talking about how we can share our creative application and knowledge and create possibilities for collaboration. Specialising in giving voice to communities Neda understands the importance of self-lead and self-managed artist projects. Working to see those around her communicating and leading the way forward for their desires on representation and creativity in their own media.
