Maitland - Practice Manager Mastermind Network Event #2

HNECC Primary Health Network warmly invites all Practice Managers from Maitland & surrounding suburbs, to join us for the second Practice Manager Mastermind Network event, to be held in the Maitland area.

The first "meeting of the minds" networking/mentoring opportunity was held in Maitland in early April and was deemed a great success.

The primary purpose of this group will be to establish support for each other emotionally, personally & professionally, and to provide a unique forum for sharing ideas and information, as well as discussing meaningful topics & everyday challenges of working in the general practice setting.

The Lorn Surgery is kindly providing the venue for this next meeting and has invited Psychologist Katie Wood to provide a discussion point for the evening.

Katie completed a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours at Charles Sturt University in 2008 and obtained her registration as a Psychologist in 2012. She has worked in the Maitland and Hunter Valley area since 2009. Katie's experience includes working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, workplace stress, burnout, and PTSD. She is experienced in providing mediation services and transition support to people as they change careers. For both long and short term patients, Katie's approach is person-centred and focused on assisting patients achieve their goals and manage everyday life.​

Join us for some nibbles, an overview of Psychology in General Practice & enjoy an opportunity to chat with other Practice Managers about the issues you may be facing in your practice.

The PHN Education Team as well as Practice Support Development Officers (PSDOs) will be in attendance at this initial event to help guide & direct, with the eventual goal of these networking events to be self run.
