Maintaining Motivation for Environmental Sustainability Practitioners
Full Day Workshop
This one-day face to face workshop is focused engaging sustainability practitioners in local and state government agencies, regional groups, community organisations and business and industry. It works from the basis that all sustainability practitioners require a high level of personal motivation to be effective in their workplace. This is especially the case in this time of great social change.
A highly interactive and problem solving workshop, where sustainability re-vitalisation and increased capacity to sustain yourself are the intended skills and behavioural outcomes.
By participating in this workshop practitioners will:
Increase their professional vitality, by considering why is it all worth it.
Improve skills and self awareness in dealing with negativity and conflict.
Increase capacity to sustain self – knowing you are doing a good job.
Improve understanding of what you bring to the role and why that is effective and required.
This is a highly important workshop for those practitioners who have worked in sustainability over a long period of time.
The minimum number of participants for this workshop is ten, otherwise it cannot be delivered.
Registration and payment in advance is essential.
Although heavily modified, this workshop was originally developed in the Accelerating Sustainability project delivered for Local Government NSW in 2013.
