Mah Jong for Beginners

Ever wanted to learn how to play the fun, fast moving game of Mah Jong? Not the on-line form of the game, but the authentic Mah Jong that is played and enjoyed across China, throughout Asia and beyond. These four, two-hour sessions will show you a straight-forward Australian form of the game that is fun to learn and play.

The fast moving and challenging game of Mah Jong originated in China in the 19 century. Using tiles set up as ‘walls’, the game involves strategy and skill for two, three or four players. These sessions are for those who have never played the game before and are suitable for ages 12 and upwards..

Mah Jong sets will be provided.

All four sessions must be booked. No single sessions are available.

This event is outside so please dress appropriately and bring a water bottle if needed.
