Event description

Description

Join us for the official launch series for the Lunette Walk at Winton Wetlands.

The Lunette Walk has been designed to enable visitors to enjoy our stunning landscape at night. Together the sky, land and the water create the ultimate combination for an unforgettable experience.

Meet at the Mokoan Hub and Cafe at 5:45pm for a light supper and then depart by bus to the Lunette Walk.

Once at the Lunette you will be expertly guided through the ancient crescent shaped sand dune to discover the evocative art installations, vast sweeping views and uninterrupted night sky.

The 1.2km trail and stations are lit by various forms of solar lighting and larger scaled light activations.

Our Indigenous Trail Project Manager and Dhulanyagan Clansman of the Yorta Yorta Nation, Graham Briggs will provide an indigenous focused tour - touching on relevant stories about the significance of the landscape, its value to our indigenous history and how the installations offer a contemporary connection to the site.
