The Lysle Roberts Memorial Luncheon series returns in July. Enjoy lunch with distinguished speakers from Defence, industry & academia.

About this event

Our guest speaker for September is AVM (Ret'd) John Blackburn, AO, former Deputy Chief of Air Force and one of Australia’s pre-eminent consultants in Defence and National Security. He will speak of the importance of supply chain and give his assessment of Australia’s preparedness or otherwise. Rather than be surprised by current issues, we need to ensure the same mistakes don’t carry forward.

About Lysle Roberts

Lysle Roberts was a RAAF 457 SQN Spitfire Pilot during WWII. His service on behalf of the Spitfire Association included lifetime Vice President and many dedicated years helping to build our Spitfire Memorial Defence Fellowship.

The fellowship allocates funds and Fellowships to bring step-change improvements to the security of Australia. The contemporary Spitfire Association carries the Fellowship into a new and exciting future, as we broaden our mission to support the resilience of Australia. Through this luncheon series, hear from outstanding Australians leading strategic change in their respective fields, as they outline the way ahead for Australia into the future.
