This beautiful boy needs our help but he doesn’t know it.

We are holding a Family Lunch open to all Sunday 20th November at the Vasto Club in Balcatta.

The Lunch will include:

• Child care service and face painting for the kids
• 4 course lunch
• Dance floor show
• Auction

Henry was born the 18th November 2015 and thinks that life is all about hospitals, doctors, intensive care units, multiple heart operations, needles, tubes and beeping machines that keep his heart from stopping.

That’s what Henry knows about life as a “nearly” one-year-old.

The other thing Henry knows is that Mummy (Lauren), Daddy (Dave) and 4year old big sister Violet love him very

much… but even their powerful love cannot take away his pain.

This young family have “put their life on hold” to be close to their beautiful boy 24/7, to love support and keep him alive. Unfortunately, when you” put your life on hold” daily life goes on. Bills keep rolling in, banks want mortgages paid, medications need to be purchased and medical expenses mount up. Daily living expenses like food, power and water don’t disappear either.

We don’t know how many more interventions Henry will need in his lifetime but we want to make sure that he receives whatever he needs when he needs it without any added financial stress for the family.

So far this very young family have done it all on their own.

Maybe Dave and Lauren are a little like Henry, they don’t know any other way.

We know there is a better way. Together we can create a wonderful future for Henry and his loving family.
