Description

Take a short break from your busy day to relax and be still.

Through guided meditation and visualisation, these relaxation sessions will gently invite you to slow down and re-energise.

The sessions have been created for everyBODY of all ages, fitness and flexibility levels - all we will do is relearn how to deeply relax.

The sessions will run every Thursday for 5 weeks, from 12:30pm -1pm, starting 15 August. Please arrive 5 minutes before to get settled, as we will start on time.

The $5 fee can be paid on the door in cash or by card.

Chairs will be provided, but feel free to bring your own mat, cushions or blankets. Our body temperature drops a few degrees when we are relaxed, so bring what you need to be comfortable.

The sessions are led by meditation and dance teacher Mary Jo Straford. Mary Jo currently teaches yoga, dance and movement, relaxation and health education that relies on the body's own wisdom and listening to what our body needs to heal.
