Event description

Description

This 'Lunch & Learn' session will outline research that led to the development of our novel neurocognitive training approach for reducing symptoms of clinical or subclinical AD/HD. The approach involved both cognitive and neurocognitive training in a themed game environment to make the training elements less conspicuous.

This Session Will:

  • Outline research in the area of non-drug treatment approaches
  • Cover a cognitive and neurocognitive training approach in a themed game environment
  • Demonstrate the portable EEG device used in this training approach
  • 'Neurocognitive training for children with AD/HD' presentation will provide professionals with an alternative approach to treating AD/HD without the implementation of prescription drugs.
