Event description
Learn about fitness fundamentals and staying active presented by Melbourne University Sport!

About this event

The Melbourne Connect Healthy Living Action Plan sets health and wellbeing goals and actions to benefit and support the precinct community.

Along with the new year comes new health goals, and the adjustment to life after lockdown brings with it social temptations and changes to routine that can make fitness more difficult.

Our first in-person Lunch & Learn Exercise: Is it everything it’s hyped up to be? sees us joined by MU Sport Fitness Services Manager Alex Affleck, who will give some much needed tips from his 35 years working in the fitness industry on how to make your exercise experience a success.

Please join us at the Launch Pad on the Superfloor. Bring your lunch (or stop at the on-site café for a healthy option) and tune in to learn about fitness fundamentals, getting started and the benefits of staying active.

Speaker Bio - Alex Affleck

With over 35 years’ experience in the Fitness Industry working as a Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor and Centre Manager Alex has witnessed (and experienced) exercise success and failure many times. During this talk he will share his tips and advice to help you make your exercise experience a success.

We look forward to seeing you there!
