The ANU College of Business and Economics is hosting a Lunch and Learn session in the discipline of Management.

This workshop is for public and private sector industry professionals who are looking to take the next step in their career and move into middle and senior management by upskilling with a postgraduate qualification in management from the ANU.

This session provides a taster of the postgraduate level course Entrepreneurship and Innovation over a working lunch.

Presented by Dr Anton Kriz, an Associate Professor at ANU and Camilo Potocnjak-Oxman, an Associate Lecturer in the ANU Research School of Management, the Championing Innovation session will briefly cover:

  • What is innovation?
  • Shifting mindsets around innovation.
  • Design thinking for innovation.
  • What steps you can take to champion innovation in your organisation.

Anton and Camilo will also cover the postgraduate programs available in Management at ANU and scholarship opportunities available for prospective students.

There is also the opportunity to speak to Student Advisors from ANU one on one about your postgraduate journey.

About the session – Designing and Championing Innovation in Your Organisation

Our postgraduate management programs all feature Entrepreneurship and Innovation as a core course and we also offer the Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, which equips graduates and professionals from any discipline to become evidence-based decision makers, innovative problem solvers, responsible social citizens, and future leaders. In this masterclass, you will learn the theory behind innovation and design thinking, and the practice of championing innovation in your organisation. The aim of this session is to introduce the basic principles and processes of innovation, and to understand how these can be applied to foster design thinking and innovation in your organisation.
