Luminous Offerings : Waning Moon Dance & Candle Making Workshop
Overview
Waning Moon Dance & Candle Making is a transformative, creative dance workshop designed for women, weaving together movement, ritual, and handcrafted candle-making. Guided by the energy of the waning moon, participants are invited into a gentle process of release, reflection, and integration through embodied dance and tactile creation.
This workshop sits within Luminous Offerings, a project series designed to nourish and activate women's creative health led by Eloise Wood (WildHoney) in collaboration with AmandaMagan (Otway Forrest Yoga), blending decades of experience in performance art, dance, somatic practice, ceremony, and community-based ritual.
This session explores the Waning Moon phase. We honour the ancient art of candle-making and observe the Celtic cross-quarter festival of Lammas, the harvest, and the waning light. Make a candle to take home, let it guide your movement and creative practice.
Open to women aged 16+ and those identifying. No dance experience necessary, just a willingness to connect and explore in a safe space. This is the final workshop in this series.
