Join Pat Anderson AO, Lowitja Institute Chairperson and 2021 ACT Senior Australian of the Year, and Professor Ian Anderson AO, ANU Deputy Vice-Chancellor, for our first Lowitja Live broadcast from Canberra this NAIDOC week.
Lowitja Live is a podcast and video series exploring the work of Lowitja Institute and all things in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health research. The series will showcase Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander researchers, knowledges, and projects across Australia, and highlight the role of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in setting the agenda and driving the outcomes.
On Wednesday 11 November, join two leaders in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health as they share how they came into the field, and the journeys that led them to work with the Lowitja Institute. They will discuss the challenges and highlights, and share their thoughts on where to next for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander led research.
The Lowitja Institute respectfully acknowledges the Ngunnawal/ Ngambri people, the traditional owners of the land on which this event will be filmed and broadcast.
