About this Event
Come along and learn the Japanese art of origami paper folding and Furoshiki gift wrapping. Using preloved fabric scarves and recycled paper, Maki from Maki's Art will demonstrate how you can use Japanese wrapping and folding techniques in creative ways to reduce waste this Christmas. Bring along second-hand scarves and creative low waste gift and Christmas decoration ideas and get inspired for a low waste Christmas this year.
Bookings: All adults and children must be booked in as participants for this event. Maximum 5 people per booking.
Please arrive ten minutes early to check in and confirm your attendance.
Cancellations: If you cannot attend this event, please cancel your bookings via Eventbrite.
Age: Suitable for adults and ages 12 years and over.
Cost: Free.
Requirements: All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear a wide-brimmed hat, secure, fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen and insect repellent. Please bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch as there are no food outlets on site. Note: activities are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
