Event description
Nicole's Love Out Loud Tour is part of a worldwide movement inspiring thousands of people about the actions of love and human potential.

About this Event

Mooloolaba OSHC would like to present one of it's first guest speakers for its new initiative under 'Community Education'. We believe that promoting wellness and education within our entire community will provide stronger outcomes for children and families.

Nicole Gibson is known as a multi-award winning social entrepreneur, but she prefers to be seen as an unstoppable messenger of love and human potential; impacting over 250 000 people world-wide with her unconventional models of community development and transformation. Currently Nicole is the CEO of a global movement, Love Out Loud, which aspires to engage 4% of the world's populous by the end of 2020, to successfully facilitate the world’s largest love-based movement.

When Nicole was 18 years old, she established a Not-for-Profit that worked in youth mental health and community capacity building, engaging tens of thousands of young people across Australia and the UK, in unconventional conversations of vulnerability, self-love, vision and connection.

Nicole has made a vast impact in the health and education landscape in Australia, and served as the youngest Commonwealth Commissioner for Health in history, advising directly to the Australian Federal Health Minister and Prime Minister.

Testimonials:

Nicole was unwilling to accept the status quo. Unwilling to accept 'thats just the way things are'. She was going to change it. She embodies unstoppable. I felt my cynicism dissipating and my own passions fire up in the presence of her love and compassion for humanity, and her grab-your-sworn-warrior-hood for people having a voice and loving their lives. Ill have what she's having. WOW!

Being in the same room as Nicole Gibson is being in the presence of a Big Bang. Not only the room, but the world seems bigger, and continued to grow bigger around her. The rawness and realness of this misleadingly petite woman was a bombshell. Shocking because its so rare!

Your talk moved people to tears. There was a shift to my thinking after your presentation. Your inspirational words woke up the entire room to how our current response to mental illness is not working. What I took home was that the current system needs tweaking. Every mental health worker should have training from you to see the illness for what it is; no stigma, just love.
