Lotus Water Garden, Chocolate Factory & Forest walk
Event Information
About this Event
We are going to The Yarra Valley, one of the prettiest places in Victoria!
TELL ME MORE!
The Yarra Valley is about 1 hour from Melbourne.
It's famous for its wineries and beautiful mountain scenery. The forests around the Yarra Valley contain some of the world's tallest trees.
WHAT'S THE PLAN?
We are going to visit 3 places:
1. Meet outside RMIT Training at 8.20am. We are taking a mini bus with up to 24 people.
2. Our first stop is the Blue Lotus Water Garden. All of the waterways contain hundreds of varieties of flowering lotus, waterlily & bog plants. The surrounding gardens feature vast perennial flower beds, creating a kaleidoscope of colour in every direction.
3. 1 hour later we arrive at the Ada Tree forest walk. The Ada Tree was once the tallest tree in Australia! First we will stop for a pinic lunch (please bring your own lunch). Then we will take a 4km walk through the stunning rain forests and witness the beauty of Australia's gum trees.
4. After the walk we will drive to the Yarra Valley Chocolate Factory. Yummy!
5. We will arrive back in Melbourne at arounf 5:30pm.
