Tyron Simon, founder and owner of multiple restaurants including sAme sAme and Bianca

Tyron once had grandeurs of playing cricket for Australia. Sadly, he had a busted knee and the realisation that he wasn't actually very good. From dreams of fame and fortune to need of employment, his love of hospitality was realised, and the serial restaurateur was born.

Since his very humble beginnings, Tyron has opened some of the iconic restaurants in South East Queensland including, LONgTIME, Rick Shores, Hôntô, sAme sAme, Agnes, Bianca and the Agnes bakery.

Ben Cleary-Corradini, co-founder and director of Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers

Ben Cleary-Corradini is co-founder and director of Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers, Australia's first 100% dedicated 'gnoccheria' and the world’s first gnoccheria chain.

Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers is a quick service Italian restaurant group employing over 60 staff across eight locations spanning Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sydney. Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers is now focused on growing from a multi store operation into a successful national food franchising company.

Ben is also an experienced management consultant having worked for PwC and Deloitte across multiple industries for over 10 years before starting his entrepreneurial ventures in Italian food and wine importation, running Italian foodie tours across regional Italy and most recently in co-founding the Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers Group.

Ben holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Wollongong and a Master of Business from UQ Business School.

Kim Liddell, owner of Street Science

Kim commenced her business journey 10 years ago, after working as a cardiac nurse for over ten years. Partnering with her husband Steve, their business Street Science is now an international award-winning education company, that inspires future generations in the field of science.

Kim is a busy working mum of two, a sessional academic at QUT and a business owner, who has worked through the many challenges that small business presents in partnership with her husband and team of scientists and educators. Not one to back down from a challenge, the last two years have ensured an overhaul of the business and a rebuild of the foundations to ensure its success into the future.
