Join the National Trust Women’s Committee on this fascinating tour into 3 private houses in Waverley/Bronte.
Described in the early days as a sandy swamp, Waverley and Bronte had very little housing until 1832 when the South Head and Coogee Roads were built. Visit three fine examples of early Australian architecture, from Bronte House, a gentleman's residence in the true Recency sense of the word, to a fine stone terrace in Prospect Street and finally a grand late 19th century home set in heritage gardens above Bronte Beach.
