Look Fell Live Well Group

Is a support and accountability group for women who want to enhance their health and well-being. Who would like to do something different, add some new strategies or make improvements to their current health. Who would like to set goals and achieve them.

Group discussions will be based on Get Healthy's 7 principles; Beliefs, Exercise, Nutrition, Supplementation, Detox, Gut Health & De-stress. (one or more principles may be the focus at any one group session)

Includes: morning tea

Group limited to 7 participants

Note: Each principle can be explored and discussed further at a specific workshop.

Beliefs
Our beliefs influence our behaviours. Our behaviours (actions) create our current health & wellbeing results

Exercise
Discover what exercise is best for you at the time. Yes you do have to challenge your body to gain results, however sometimes the challenge is the type of exercise rather than the intensity. (we tend to choose exercises that we like or that we are good at). When you are very busy or stressed, a calming exercise session like yoga or pilates would be more beneficial to your body.

Nutrition
Learn to eat to balance your blood sugar. When we can balance our blood sugar, fat is metabolised more efficiently and food and sugar cravings are reduced when our blood sugar level stop spiking and dipping. We need to eat foods that are appropriate for us, so that we can limit or avoid the discomfort associated with food intolerances.

Supplementation
Often our body requires supplementation to support its vital functions. Our bodies require additional nutrients during periods of stress, when we are busy, unwell, and when you are on a detox.

Detox
We need to limit our exposure to toxic chemicals and regularally work on eliminating them from our body, via what we ingest, inhale and absorb.

Gut Health
Good health begins in the gut. Research indicates that there is a link between the gut and mental health, immune dysfunction, diabetes, obesity and autism.

De-stress

Stress is one of the constant factors in the development and progression of illness. It alters our sleep, increases our requirements for nutrients, increases inflammation, reduces our effectiveness and mental well-being. Mindfulness, meditation and more will be explored.
