LOL (Learn on Location) is back by popular demand! This time we’re visiting the picturesque and impressive tiered waterfall that is Toorongo Falls, Noojee.
During this 2.5 hour hands-on photography experience you will learn how to make the most of photo opportunities and gain confidence with guided tuition.
Join Bron and explore Toorongo Falls where you will see beautiful cascading rivers surrounded by towering fernery and trees before you reach the inspiring Tooronga Falls. There will be countless photographic opportunities.
Learn how to make the most of your camera settings and photograph the beautiful surroundings. Bron will demonstrate and show you how to play with shutter speed to capture long exposures of the flowing waterfalls and river.
Please bring your camera, lenses, memory card, fully charged battery, tripod (if you have one), shutter release cable/remote (if you have one) and make sure to wear warm and comfortable clothing and footwear.
This class is the perfect next step from our ‘Introduction to DSLR class’ but it also well suited if you need a refresher lesson with your camera. We aim to improve your skills and knowledge further while being outside and hands-on with your camera.
Please note that there are toilet facilities located near the car park.
About Toorongo Falls
Only two hours from Melbourne, Toorongo Falls Reserve is nestled amongst some of Victoria’s most gorgeous cool temperate rainforest. Take the 750-metre, mostly uphill track to the viewing platform to watch the water tumble over the rocky cliff face into the valley below. Enjoy the stunning cascades on the way up as you weave through giant tree ferns, Mountain Grey Gum, Mountain Ash, Manna and Blackwood. Make the most of your visit and take the 2.2-kilometre circuit walk to see both Toorongo Falls and neighbouring Amphitheatre Falls.
