Celebrating 100 years of Rotary in Australia

To celebrate 100 years of Rotary in Australia and New Zealand - Rotary Australia has partnered with the Australia Day Council in coordination with District 8 Clubs to organise a Happy 100 Bicycle Ride for individuals and a Team 34 Ride.

HAPPY 100K RIDE

100K ride will be for individuals, leaving Jimboomba Hall at 5am. The track is a 100km loop to Beaudesert and back. There will be two hydration stations set up for the 100km event. The first station will be approximately 40km into the ride in front of the Beaudesert IGA. The second hydration station will be at Undullah Road Railway bridge near Kilmoylar Road. There will be signs at each turn and Marshals throughout the ride with support vehicles behind the final riders and first aid on standby. The finishing time goal is 9.30am.

TEAM or Individual 34K RIDE

34K ride will be for a team of 3 completing 34km. The team ride will leave from Selwyn Park Beaudesert at 7am (with return transport if required) finishing at Jimboomba Hall at approximately 9.30am. There will be a hydration station at Undullah Road Railway bridge near Kilmoylar Road and signs at each turn with Marshals throughout the ride, first aid on standby and support vehicles behind the final riders.

Both rides will finish at Jimboomba Community Hall around the same time with a Sausage Sizzle provided by Rotary to follow. Lunch will also be provided and the bar will open at midday.

Entry fee for all riders will be $30 which includes the sausage sizzle, a commemorative T-shirt and a $10 donation to Rotary Foundation. Families and the community are invited to watch the finish and join us in the sizzle. Sausage Sizzle will be available for the community to purchase with a gold coin donation.
