Locals at the Locale: perspectives from Panton Hill residents

About this Event

Brings together local residents, environmentalists, academics and practitioners to share and discuss observations, personal reflections about the Panton Hill Reserves and in particular Bunjil Reserve. A site conversation including subjects ranging from listening to the landscape, intimacy created with place over time and how this relates to memory and caring for country.

Walking, Talking, Listening, Learning is a series of six walking talks at Bunjil Reserve, Panton Hill during 2019 and 2020. The program is presented by the Paradoxa Collective and the Nillumbik Shire Council.

PS Paradoxa Collective members are planning to make art works for exhibition that will be informed by these walks. This may include photographs or videos. Please think about whether you are comfortable being in our documentation and let us know at the beginning of the event if you are not.
