Event description

Description

The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), Australia’s peak body for general practice, seeks to support the profession by ensuring that opportunities exist for general practitioners (GPs) to connect and engage at a local level.

At this meeting, leaders from Hunter New England Local Health District (LHD) Partnerships, Innovation and Research Unit will provide an update on LHD activities, including work surrounding discharge summaries, HealthPathways and Smart e-Referral.

The network will also have an opportunity to discuss the RACGP’s proposed online Advocacy Guide, which is currently being developed and will include guides for local/grassroots advocacy, as well as news on the RACGP’s advocacy activities.

The RACGP, Hunter New England and Central Coast Primary Health Network (HNECC) and Hunter GP Association (HGPA) will also provide updates on current issues.

Registration is free and all GPs in the Hunter region are welcome – you do not need to be an RACGP member to come along. We welcome you to share this registration page with your peers.

Light refreshments will be provided from 6.15 pm

We look forward to seeing you there!

Please note there are limited places available to attend in person. Bookings are essential.
