Local Governments have a critical role to play in driving the change needed to prevent Family and Domestic Violence within their communities. As the closest tier of government to the people, Local Governments are best positioned to be take action at the local level to address violence against women and to embed gender equality and respect in their communities.

This webinar will provide an overview of the current state of Family and Domestic Violence Prevention within Local Governments in Western Australia. Hear from WALGA as they discuss what they have been doing in Family and Domestic Violence Prevention and how you can get involved as well as the City of Mandurah’s experiences in piloting the National Family and Domestic Violence Toolkit.
