Living with Anxiety Online Peer Support Group
Overview
Living with Anxiety: Online Peer Support Group is a free, weekly space for people living with anxiety to connect with others who understand. Anxiety can be isolating, especially for those living regionally, caring for others, retired, in recovery, managing chronic health conditions, taking time away from work or study, or finding it hard to leave the house. This group offers a safe and calm, peer-led space where you can feel a little less alone in anxiety. There’s no pressure to speak. You’re welcome to listen, share, or simply be present.
We ask that none of the participants record the support group session and no one other than the participant views or listens in on the support group. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that what is discussed at the meeting will remain confidential as we rely on the members of the group to maintain confidentiality.
WayAhead Mental Health Association NSW is a charity organisation that works every day to educate people on mental health and wellbeing, with positive messaging and support, linking people to services and resources that improve their mental health.
