Event description

Description

To mark the 150th Anniversary of the birth of Luigi Pirandello, the Italian Consulate will host a special event dedicated to the Italian dramatist, novelist and poet.

The play features Mimmo Mangione, a Sicilian born actor and director, funder of the company Commeartefò, a theatre company established in 1989.

Throughout his carrier, Mimmo Mangione had interpreted various roles from Molière to Pirandello from Goldoni to Peppino De Filippo,.

Mimmo will present an entertaining performance, accompanied by cello player Adi Sappir-Choen.

This performance is in Italian with an introduction in English and is free of charge. Registrations via email by the 16th October 2017. See attached flyer for your registration. Refreshments and meet and greet with the actor will be offered after the play.

We take this opportunity to thank the University of South Australia, Romaldi Constructions and Serafino Wines for their generous sponsorship.
