What this workshop offers

This two day workshop creates opportunities for participants to quickly and comprehensively develop and extend their knowledge of virtues. Participants will gain an understanding of how virtues can be applied to their everyday life.

The workshop will explore key virtues elements such as recognising and speaking from a virtues base, alongside strategies to develop virtues character in self and others.

The Virtues Project’s strategies help to gain a way of looking at the world from a virtues lens. The result being that you leave the workshop with knowledge of the 5 strategies to practice and work with.

The workshop will be interactive and engaging using a variety of resources. You will leave this workshop with practical ways to work with the virtues strategies. The facilitator will utilise their broad practical knowledge drawn from the combined worlds of virtues, education, business and community services to guide and lead discussion for your greater virtues experience and confidence to define the 5 strategies

. What is The Virtues Project

The Virtues Project is a global initiative to inspire character development by the practice of virtues in everyday life. It helps us to connect to who we really are - people of compassion, wisdom, love, courage, purposefulness and other virtues.

The project was founded in 1991 and now works in over 100 countries and endorsed by the United Nations, Dalai Lama and Oprah Winfrey.

The project delivers programs and material that have been developed into 5 strategies to make it useful and tangible in everyone’s lives.

Trainer: Kim Adele is a Master Facilitator for The Virtues Project and has over 20 years experience working with the project. She has qualifications in Education, Social Sciences and Counselling. Kim Adele works with the Virtues to conduct intensive training, professional development and mentoring for educators, parents and other groups as well as working with individuals. She also advises schools and organisations. She has designed this training for you to connect in to get the best of The Virtues Project and bring it into your everyday life.
