Living & Dying. Let's Talk by Geelong Cemeteries Trust and Compassionate Hearts on the Bellarine.
This event is the first of FOUR to be held within the communities of the Bellarine Peninsula, Macedon Ranges, Colac and central Geelong, all with a networking luncheon, workshops with local experts on dying, death and grieving. Guest speakers for the upcoming Bellarine Peninsula event are, Dr David Brumley a Palliative Care specialist and Compassionate Communities advocate. Local specialists in funeral planning, lawyers for wills and estates, grief support, aged care options, celebrants and cemeterieis. A Death Café where you can safely talk about your questions, demystify the process and explore what is available. A Death Bar with music will wrap the day up; ending on a local note of who is available on the Bellarine Peninsula and what can be provided locally around dying, death and grief. Registration is required for catering, guests may choose either session option or the whole day (Two Sessions) but please register for both.
