Livewell Yarra, in conjuction with the Clifton Hill Laneway Community Garden will be running an upcycling information and practical workshop.
The workshop will commence at the Scout Hall on Walker Street and cover essential information about upcycling, its origins and necessity in the current ecological climate.
You'll learn to see new potential in items you might unnecessarily dispose of. This workshop will give you the knowledge to improve your own practices and inform others about how they can do their bit!
After the introduction, we'll go to the Clifton Hill Laneway Community Garden (10minute walk) and demonstrate simple upcycling methods by constructing an easy to make planter box.
Please bring items or photos of things you have re-purposed so everyone can see the breadth of re-using products that would have gone to waste.
We'll finish with a shared lunch which we will provide most of the food but any contributions will be greatly appreciated.
