Lived Expertise Community of Practice (CoP) Meetings 2026

The Workforce Lived Expertise Community of Practice fosters a supportive and inclusive environment. It highlights the value of lived expertise from people who have experienced homelessness and now work in the Housing and Homelessness sector.

Through this community, we seek to establish peer support systems, empowering employees to draw on their lived experiences as they navigate professional challenges, contribute to decision-making, and influence workplace culture.

Our goal is to normalise lived expertise within the workforce, fostering empathy, and creating a more inclusive organisational environment.

Monthly Meeting: 2nd Wednesday of every month

14th January, 11th February, 11th March, 8th April, 13th May, 10th June, 8th July, 12th August, 9th September, 14th October, 18th November 2026 (one off on the 3rd Wednesday of the month) 9th December

Time: 1:00pm - 3:00pm

Tickets: Free. Password required to register (see eligibility note below)

Delivery: ONLINE on Teams

Eligibility:

• Members must work in Queensland, within a housing and homelessness service
• Have lived experience of homelessness
