About this event

FOSTER CARE LIVE WEBINAR INFORMATION SESSION

Have you ever thought about fostering a child?

We are seeking people from all walks of life, age groups and cultures to become full-time, weekend or emergency foster carers for children across Melbourne.

We need people like you to show a child what home really means - a place to feel safe, cared for and to belong.

You can be married, single, a same-sex couple, retired or working - with or without children of your own. Some experience with children who have complex needs due to trauma or disability is desirable, but not essential. We provide full training, 24/7 support and a financial reimbursement to help cover the cost of providing care.

If you're interested in sharing your home, heart and time with a child in need, please join us for a free live webinar to find out what's involved in becoming a general or specialist foster carer.

We will cover the different types of care, the application and assessment process, the roles and responsibilities of being a foster carer and the support you will receive from Life Without Barriers. You will also have the opportunity to post questions that our foster care team will answer during the webinar.

Could you be a foster carer? Register now to receive your digital link to our free live webinar to find out!

For questions, please call Louise on 0437 262 194 or email viccarers@lwb.org.au
