Event description

Description

Have you ever met a child who is not fascinated by water? Regardless of its aggregate state, icy, cold, or hot, children love to explore water from an early age.

At your first Little Scientists workshop you will explore water with all your senses, investigate the different aggregate states and test the solubility of different substances. You will be given the opportunity to discover how STEM subjects can be implemented in a free and exciting way and you will engage in different hands-on experiences linked to the concept of inquiry-based learning and co-construction.

Please note this workshop is run over two dates:

Tuesday 24th July 6.00pm - 9.00pm

Wednesday 25th July 6.00pm - 9.00pm

To further support continuous professional growth, we introduce new relevant STEM topics each year.

The Little Scientists program is endorsed to provide NESA Registered Professional Development. Completing the Water Workshop will contribute 5 hours and 30 minutes of NESA Registered PD addressing standard descriptors 1.5.2, 2.1.2, 2.5.2, 3.3.2 and 6.2.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.

Please see our Little Scientists workshop Terms and Conditions on www.littlescientists.org.au.
