Event description
Introduce your children to the magic of live music in an exciting new collaboration with Orchestra Victoria!

About this event

Little Puggle’s song is a heart-warming story about a young echidna, Puggle, who wants to join the bush choir, however every time he tries to sing nothing comes out! Set to the sounds of woodwind, string and percussion instruments, this new work by composer Maria Grenfell brings Vikki Conley’s charming picture book to life.

This short, interactive session is a perfect first musical experience for young people. Children are invited to participate in the storytelling and learn about all the different instruments being played.

There’ll be four sessions a day, at 10.00am, 11.30am, 1.00pm and 2.30pm.

Don’t miss this opportunity to experience this musical storytime in our beautiful, newly renovated spaces. They’ll be singing and dancing all the way home!

Suitable for ages three and older.

About the composer

Maria Grenfell is Associate Professor at the University of Tasmania Conservatorium of Music. Her award-winning pieces have been played by every symphony orchestra in Australia and New Zealand, and have been featured in film.
