Event description
Join us for a day of Qigong practise and use the natural wisdom of your body to maintain or improve your health.

About this Event

Listen to your Body - an Introduction to Qigong is our one day programme offering great tools that will teach you to listen to your body with clarity. We will use Qigong, Daoist wisdoms, Meditations and an authentic Chinese Tea Ceremony to bring together a view of how we can live in harmony with our bodies and nature.

Modern society has profoundly alienated us from nature and only now are we starting to recognise the cost to human health and happiness. During this day you will learn ways to integrate this ancient Chinese practise into your life. It will offer you a different approach to life, one that both listens to the workings of your amazing body and connects you to the timeless majesty of the cosmos.

We're honoured to bring Thérèse Poon to Sydney to teach this fantastic workshop. Thérèse is an Australian born and trained acupuncturist who has also studied in China. She completed a full Medical Qigong apprenticeship with the renowned Dr Bisong Guo, author of Listen to your Body - the Wisdom of the Dao. Thérèse has taught Qigong at many retreats and workshops and hosts an annual retreat at the Findhorn Foundation in Scotland, where she lived and worked for nearly 12 years. She currently resides and practises acupuncture in Melbourne.

This day is suitable for all fitness levels and for beginners as well as experienced Qigong practitioners.
