1st Yackandandah Scouts - Whilst benefiting the scouting group the shelters will allow the surrounding community to be aware of the positive community participation of Yackandandah Scouts.

Girls Stand Strong
Girls Stand Strong - a local program run in North East Victoria to empower young women between 12-18 years to lead a positive and fulfilling life through healthy body awareness, friendships and lifestyle. We aim to keep the costs low, and offer additional partial sponsorship to girls that are financially constrained.

Event Details

This will be a community event not to be missed.

As you view the sun set and serene valley views to Big Ben and beyond, enjoy a chilled brew from Two Pot Brewing Co, a lcoal wine or cold beverage. Savour sumptuous  meals of smoked meats and local produce from the Star Hotel and Yack Ingredients which are available for purchase. 


Early Bird Tickets available for purchase until 18 February, $25 per person includes entry and complimentary beverage from Two Pot Brewing.


Join like-minded community and business members of the Indigo/Albury/Wodonga region for LINCD - an evening of fun & funding; pitching and pledging; optimism & opportunity.

Listen to the perfected pitch of five community groups, selected to participate in a pitch presentation program run by Indigo Speakers Club.

Initiate a pledge, impress a client by raising it, outbid a business competitor, or thrash that neighbourhood rival. Or just attend and enjoy the show. By buying a ticket you have contributed. Further pledging is encouraged but optional. 

Regional property personality Des Lonergan will be conducting the pitch & pledge live crowdfunding action.

Tickets purchased before 18 February, $25 per person includes entry and complimentary beverage from Two Pot Brewing.

LINCD (Local Indigo Network Charity Drive) by Indigo Speakers Club is a community group leadership development and fundraising opportunity.

Five not-for-profits community groups have been selected to participate in a tailored Toastmasters Speechcraft course. The course will prepare them to speak confidently and persuasively about their project.

The FIVE local organisations that have been selected to participate in the LINCD development and funding project.are:-

LINCD enables people to come together at an entertaining evening, to pool their funds and resources to positively impact their communities.

Indigo Speakers Club

Indigo Speakers Club is a Toastmasters International Club, meeting twice a month in Yackandandah and Wooragee. 

Our focus is to provide a supportive learning environment in which our club members can develop the essential communication skills to be successful in their community, workplace or life. 

A self paced pathway enables members, to develop skills which they present through prepared speeches, impromptu speeches, and meeting roles.
