LIGHTPAINTING WORKSHOP
Event Information
About this Event
I’m excited to announce that I am now taking bookings for my new Light Painting Workshops.
In this hands on work-shop you will learn how to use the right settings on your camera to capture Long Exposure Light Art. Whether you are a beginner or a more advanced photographer that wants to learn a bit more about this exciting emerging art form, you will get a lot out of this class. We will be chatting about how your cameras shutter speed, ISO and aperture work together in relation to capturing varying light sources including LED's night images.
You will learn how to capture awesome light painting photos and also participate in creating some images too. We will discuss and help you with composition, giving your photos that WOW factor.
Also, you will be provided with an editing tutorial on how to blend multiple images in Photoshop. This will give you the opportunity to create exciting and colourful images using numerous exposures taken during the night. If you do not have photoshop we are able to help with blending images if required.
After taking an awesome photo, high fives, back slaps and chest bumps will unfortunately not be allowed due to Covid 19. All participants are expected to practice safe respiratory hygiene and social distancing while attending the workshops. There will be only 6 participants in the workshop to help with social distancing.
What you need:
Camera and a lens that allows you to manual focus.
-Sturdy Tripod
-Charged battery and spare
-SD card
-Remote shutter release (optional)
-Head torch or torch
Due to COVID 19, we are running with a maxium of 6 people for this event, as we want you to walk away feeling confident having had a fun time with a bundle of awesome light painting images to take home and edit. The workshop is kept small, so everyone gets ample time for help and to ask questions.
